The CRAFT DRAFT Fes studio is located in the medina (old city) within Funduq al-Khrashfiyin, a mid-19th-century caravanserai situated along the famous Fes River, between the two historic bridges. The studio was originally established as Dar Attamania in 1968 by Master Mokhtar El Fasiki, the head of the brass-smith guild. In 2011, it was passed down to his son and apprentice Hamza El Fasiki. Since then, the studio has been known as CRAFT DRAFT.
