Šālla, located in Rabat, Morocco, is an ancient archaeological site with a long history. Originally settled by Phoenicians and later Romans, it thrived as a port city. It was abandoned after the fall of the Roman Empire, but reoccupied by Muslims in the 12th century. The Merinid dynasty turned it into a necropolis in the 14th century. It was rediscovered in the 20th century and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • This Intermediate / Advanced Live Course will feature 3 Moroccan geometric patterns along with other patterns as homework. This course will shed light the ruined geometric patterns from Šālla, Morocco.
