Tracing
Using a divider and ruler you will find the center, trace circles and divide them into a specific number
Chiseling
Using a set of chisels you will try your hands on making straight lines
Stamping
Using a variety of different stamps from our 1550 stamps collection, you will add details to your creativity.
Shaping
Master Abdelilah al-Waqaf will raise the edge of your brass sheet to turn into in a tray.

Master Mokhtar El Fasiki, apprentice artisan since 1957, master since 1968 and head of the brass guild of Fes since 1993.

Workshop Details
Introduction
We will start with a general intro to the various bookbinding styles, tools and materials.
Embossing
Using a press, stamps and hammer, we will select a brass / metal stamps to be embossed onto the covers.
Binding
After piercing the flded sections, we will Use waxed thread and a needle, we will stitch the sections together.
Covering
The last step is binding the book covers together with the first and last sectons.
